Cocker Spaniel Rescue Clubs
Cocker Spaniel Rescue Centres are organisations who rescue homeless Cocker Spaniels. They do an amazing job to help rehabilitate and rehome Labs for various reasons. Most of these organisations rely on public funding. Help support these abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. Please use our contact form if you wish to add a rescue organisation to the list.
Cocker Spaniel
The English Cocker Spaniel is a strong, conservative, very much adjusted breed. It has a trademark expression demonstrating insight and intelligence. They are naturally alert, giving them exceptional watchdog abilities. They are relatively easy to train, thus making them a great for first time owners breed choice.
Its eyes are lobular and its long flowing ears reach past the tip of the nose when pulled forward. Male Cocker Spaniels are large somewhere around 15.5 and 16 inches (39 and 41 cm) at the withers with the females somewhat littler, developing to somewhere around 15 and 15.5 inches (38 and 39 cm). They both weigh roughly 13–14.5 kilograms (29–32 lb).

The English Cocker Spaniel shares similarities with English Springer Spaniels and at first look the main real distinction is the bigger size of the Springer. However English Cockers tend to have longer, lower-set ears. What's more, Springers also tend to have a longer muzzle, their eyes are not as noticeable and the coat is less abundant and far easier to maintain.
